Another quick post to show door details being added... card cut outs to give paneled door effect on main dwelling...
...and scored balsa for the rear gates and outbuilding doors and hatches, with some matchstick frames again...
Right its a wet Saturday here in NZ and... Emirates Team New Zealand has been struck down with bad luck... grump grump... off to clad some clay...
Looking good Scott - unlike ETNZ, your pace appears to be picking up.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yeah, I'm kinda in the groove with it now - having done it once, there's less thinking how to do it, just getting on with it...
DeleteScott: Your attention to detail and craftsmanship are always impressive. Dean
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean, I guess its the little details that make it work.
DeleteThis one seems to be going very quickly. The in progress photos are great.
ReplyDeleteYes, pleased with progress so far. Glad you are enjoying it.
DeleteLooking good for sure, how do you manage to store it all though?
ReplyDeleteIan
Thanks Ian. I am fortunate in having a fairly spacious games room. There's a 12'x 6' table permanently set up and storage space underneath - mind you, with all the LOTR, FOW and pirate stuff I have made in the past, its starting to fill up!
DeleteMy wife was joking I may need to build on an extension... I am beginning to ponder that it may not be a joke! ;-)
Really enjoying these wip shots too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sir, glad you are finding them entertaining.
