Wargs! - The Hounds of Sauron!

More painting finished, readying troops for our next FotR scenario; The Hounds of Sauron...

The evil forces have 18 Wargs led by a Wild Warg Chieftain. I had 6 Wargs and the Chieftain... so I needed another 12 Wargs.

These winged their way from the UK a couple of weeks ago, and were finished on friday night...

 The 12 new wargs:

And the full pack, with the 6 I already had, and the Chieftain...

Also, looking ahead through the scenarios, as the Fellowship flee to Lothlorien the same number of Wargs feature again, this time allied with Moria Goblins. I have the Goblins all good to go, and the Wargs done too now. I just need to paint up Haldir to be able to play that scenario...

Progressing well... also made more progress this weekend on my Watcher Board... update to follow...

  1. These look tremendous Scott and the leader with the unfortunate victim trapped underneath his paws is awesome. Looking forward to see these harrying the Fellowship.

    1. I do like the Gundabad Wargs but they're pricey compared to the regular Wargs... These will do for now, I'll get some Gundabad ones when I get on to the Hobbit stuff... yeah its good stuff eh?

  4. Very nice wargs, Scott! When you ally them with Moria Goblins, add Druzhag the Beastcaller to your army, his "Engage Beast" special rule makes wargs unbeatable!

  6. Loving your current SBG revival, makes me want to do the same...
Our club is about to launch a global Middle Earth SBG 'War of the Ring' campaign, 12 nations, 6 players - 1 victor.
Keep up the good work :-) just a shame you don't live in Sussex!
